These mini-humbuckers give you the bright, bell-like jangle of single-coils, with the midrange complexity and punch you associate more with humbuckers. Pull the volume knobs to access coil-split single-coil tones, and you've got an incredible sonic range to explore. Many guitarists here at Sweetwater like to leave the pickup selector in the middle position, and use the dual volume knobs to create custom pickup combinations - try putting the neck pickup into single-coil mode for a warm rhythm tone, then blending in a bit of the bridge pickup in humbucking mode for extra bite and energy.
