These are super versatile with real mojo, proven performers with fast, low action and plenty of new guitar zing. Smooth and easy to play, the real thing with vintage vibe. These are fantastic axes. You will not believe the awesome Stratocaster tone they emulate. If you are looking for a real Strat at a USA made, entry level price point this is your best option by far. The Custom Shop Fat 50s pups are the very essence of Strat tone. Clean tones have it all from the timeless funk in the mixed positions to the clean, bell-like projection from the darker neck pickup and the bright-enough-for-most middle pickup. The bridge pickup can be an ear-slicer - hardly surprising yet in comparison with some other Strats, there's a musical width to the sounds here, almost three-dimensional
